You will need three prints for this project: light, medium and dark (but cheerful) fabrics.

Cut three 2½” strips of each fabric from selvage to selvage.

Sew strips together in order light to dark.  Press.

Cut into 6 ½” squares and arrange according to the photo.

Make 20 squares.

Sew squares into rows and rows into quilt top.

Final size of quilt top: 24 ½” by 30 ½”.

Attach to flannel back and quilt as desired (no tying please).
