pattern by Australian quilter Jenny Haskins, who
obviously loves purple, bows, butterflies and
hearts, and created the quilt in a class taught by
Esther Silver at Quality Sewing in Everett.

Taking Time to Smell the Roses

Many different
reds were collected before I found the border
fabric. This bouquet of roses reminds me to
slow down and enjoy life. The saying "Take
time to smell the roses" is done in thread in the
left border and a poem about roses by a cancer
survivor is in the lower border. |
