designed it and did the applique; Carrol McVey
hand quilted and Judy Irish machine quilted. |

Love Blooms

This
celebrates my parent's 50th wedding anniversary
with photo transfers of our large family of 10
children and 4 foster sisters. The floral
fabric is from curtains from our family home and
the buttons are from both our grandmothers.
Mary Hickey provided a scanner and some fabric; my
husband, Mike, restored and printed the photos;
Cleo Nollette replicated in fabric the birthday
card my grandmother sent Dad on his honeymoon and
my sisters helped quilt it. |

Garden-Mother/Daughter Quilt

My daughter
Karin, age 10, and I started the '$5.00 quilt'
program at Pacific Fabrics, Everett in October
1999 and completed the blocks by August 2000.
Karin selected the backing fabric, corner sashing
and made hr blocks. Machine quilted by
Kathryn Milburn. |
