Is This Bright Enough for You?
by Roxanne Burns - 2nd Place |

My husband
wanted a bright quilt to hang in his office, which
has no windows. I think this will be bright
enough for him. (Be careful what you wish
for . . . . ) |

Flying Leaves
by Gretchen Engle - 3rd Place |
 |
|
I have been
collecting leaf fabrics for years, waiting for the
right design. This is "Fall Fancy" from an
article in Quilters Newsletter, October 2002,
about leaf blocks.) The block was first
published in the "Rural New Yorker" in 1931.)
It barely dented my collection of leaf fabrics! |
