Year 2000, Too Many Houses and People but Will Still be Quilting

by Audrey Fisher - 2nd Place

How small can you make a log cabin quilt?  In this original design, there are 99 log cabin, 2 1/2"square blocks with about 900 half-inch logs.  Note the quilt shop (center bottom row), and even some cats in windows.

22.5" x 27.5"

Bird Watching by Jane Morse - 3rd Place
While surfing the web for quilt designs, I saw a quilt by Carol Bryer Fallert (Bryerpatch Studio), famous for her curving flying geese sections.  After years of watching my cats watch birds, I designed this wall hanging.

18" x 36"
