| I have
been quilting since 2003 and this is my first
finished quilt. I wanted to make this
larger than the class quilt, so I added 2 more
fabrics for a total of 10 green fabrics.
This king-size quilt has more than 3,000
squares. Quilted by Lynn Baxter. |

I made this
quilt with my aunt for my 10th birthday.
It's my first quilt. I decided to make
this quilt because when I went through my aunt's
fabrics, I wanted to use them all. I love
the rainbow, bright and beautiful colors and
patterns. Sponsored by Becca Knox.
Quilted by Cynthia White. |

Tracie's First Quilt

Last summer my
mom taught me how to use a sewing machine and I
pieced my first quilt top. Mom even let me
pick new fabric from a shop instead of something
from 'her stash'. It was fun learning to
do something my mom does on a regular basis.
Sponsored by Brenda Tomulty. Quilted by
Joyce Trees (Tracie's mom). |
