Seaside Serenade by Beckie Hansen - 1st Place

Design, piecing: Beckie Hansen.  Appliqué: Beckie Hansen, Carol Porter.  Quilting: Joanne Case.  Made for Christmas season at our ocean house.  The blocks represent fall and winter at the beach; the basket of shells represents the bounty you may find washed ashore when you venture out on a beachwalk after a seasonal storm.
