Peaceful Cascade Summer by Elaine Colvin - 2nd
Place |

Inspired by
Barbara Sherrill's pattern, I did all the
planning, cutting and appliqué work while
camping near a Cascade Mountains river where a
family of Great Blue Herons lice. Since I
had no electricity, I pressed the appliqué
blocks between sheets of aluminum foil inside my
campfire waffle iron. Worked great! |

Tucker's Americana Quilt by Linda Tellesbo - 3rd Place |
 |
|
This quilt was
quite the challenge. I have always wanted
a red, white and blue quilt, so I finally made
one! My friend's dog really likes this quilt (I
will not go into this), so I named the quilt
after him! |
