I started 4 of
these for my two granddaughters and two of my
children. During this time, I found out I
had breast cancer so found it difficult to work
on the squares as I had no strength. It
took 4 years to complete the quilts. I
still have on to be hand quilted. design

I found the
pattern and the fabrics at one of my favorite
quilt shops, Momma Made It, in Longview,
Washington. I made the quilt to go on the
guest bed. Our daughter has moved to
Phoenix and her room has been converted into a
guest room, and I wanted something that would be
inviting to all guests that want to stay a
while. |
