1000 ~ Pieced Solo - B

Celestial Infinity by Donna Eines - 1st Place

The color intensity and size of each of the ten New York Beauties is reduced by 5% and gold thread provides an interest accent.  Hand and machine piece and hand quilted.

Espiral Estrella by Jeanette Chrane - 2nd Place
A few years ago I took Susan Burker's class, Spiral Lone Star, using Jan Krentz's book "Lone Star Quilts and beyond" for the pattern.  I am proud to display it as this is my first quilt to make start to finish - meaning I even bound it.  Machine piece and machine quilted.

Storm at Sea by Beckie Hansen - 3rd Place
Purchased an antique table cloth that had sailors swabbing the deck and other ship scenes in blue work.  Was inspired to make a small quilt to with it for the boys room at our beach house.  The nautical flags spell out, ships ahoy, storm at sea, anchors away.  Used retro fabric to go with the antique tablecloth.  Machine pieced and machine quilted.

Circle Game by Jane Keolker - HM
The design for this quilt was taken from a weaving pattern.  The colors were changed all around so it's hard to tell that now.  Designed by me, machine piece and machine quilted.

60 x 60
