A few years
ago I took Susan Burker's class, Spiral Lone
Star, using Jan Krentz's book "Lone Star Quilts
and beyond" for the pattern. I am proud to
display it as this is my first quilt to make
start to finish - meaning I even bound it.

Storm at Sea by

Purchased an
antique table cloth that had sailors swabbing
the deck and other ship scenes in blue work.
Was inspired to make a small quilt to with it
for the boys room at our beach house. The
nautical flags spell out, ships ahoy, storm at
sea, anchors away. Used retro fabric to go
with the antique tablecloth. Machine
pieced and machine quilted. |
