Migrating Geese by Lisa

| Living in
Washington State, every Spring and Fall, I get
to observe lots of migrating birds. Most
likely to see are Canada Geese, which form a
gracious V while flying, they also navigate at
night along the stars. All of this gave me
the basic inspiration for my jacket.

| I have a
jacket like this one that my daughter keeps
trying to steal from me so she can wear it.
This year for Christmas, I decided to make one
for her. These colors just show her
vibrant personality. Machine pieced,
machine quilted. |
